Aisha Jamila Hinds has been an American actress for more than an entire decade. Her roles include The Shield as well as True Blood. The year 1997 was the time she played two acclaimed role: Iruvar and Aur pyaar hogaia. Bachchan was the symbol of New Bollywood with these films which defied the basic Bollywood form of structure. Bachchan became the new queen of Bollywood after her portrayal of the role in Devdas 2002, one of the most well-known Bollywood films. The film was also the first Bollywood film that was screened at Cannes Film Festival. She received great praise for her performance in Chokher Bali (2003) the dramatic film based on Rabindranath Tagore's book. That following year, she was appointed as the first Indian actress to be on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan made an appearance as a character in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance version to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan was able to bring her charisma and beauty to her first major English film. Before releasing Provoked:A True Story 2006 in English and then returning to Bollywood to star as a co-star in Dhoom: 2 (2006 smash film). She got married Abhishek Bachchan, co-star, who is the daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage was a chance to bring two of India's most powerful people to one another.
