Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor best known as the lead actor in the popular television series 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. When he was in college, he began to explore the world of acting. At his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder where he was studying acting. He has been in the television and film industry, but the small screen characters that made him famous and earned him an enormous fan base. His ability to play characters in both legal and non-legal settings has captured the attention of people. He was the voice of the serial killer in his debut television show but later went on to take on the role as an NYPD detective. His small-screen performances were rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. The most appealing feature of his face can be attributed to his stunning blue eyes which have been considered to be his distinctive feature and are credited with depicting rough characters with charisma. In 2006, he appeared in People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
